Getting Around

Share

Walking trough Bitola in one of the best tings to do and it is one of the best ways to really get to know Bitola.

To feel the breeze of the pleasant wind coming down the close mountain slopes of Baba Mountain and Pelister, to hear the noise of everyday life to see the smiley and friendly faces of the people.

You could fell their warm welcome not only in the coffee-shops, restaurants, stores but also to the some of the open markets.

Most of the hotels are placed in the city centre, but there are several other hotels that are 10, 20 or 30 minutes walk from the centre. So if you prefer to walk or to see something more from Bitola you might stay in some of those hotels.

But if you prefer to avoid all this, you could always take the city bus which will take you around the whole city. The price of the ticket is really chip and it will cost you probably 50 Euro cents.

Or you might take a taxi which is also relatively chip and depends of the distance it will cost you 60 - 120 denars or 1 - 2 Euros, or even chipper.

If you want to learn more about the city, its people, its culture and history you might hire a tourist guide in the Tourist Info Centre, or in some of the local tourist agencies.
